For now i'm playing World of Goo. Strange and beautiful game and I've never seen something like that before.

I like MMORPG, RPG and FPS games.

Best ,,anime" movie i've ever seen was Paprika. This is a science fiction film, and i was confused when i saw it first time.

I think the best are fantasy, science fiction and action films.

Damn it! I didn't know that on this forum is so many topics, even in English, heh anyway I supposed that is side only about games and gadgets.

By the way Shaker you are lucky that you can play World of Goo, my CD is little destroyed, unfortunately I've bought it broken, so I can't use it. All time is a error crc or something like that, I can't install nothing. On CD I found just two small but deep scars. Now I'm thinking about write message to someone from CDA, who could help me with that problem. Is it possible that they will send me new, better one CD? If yes, I would be very happy, because I so much wanted to play World of Goo.

I like shooters. Mostly CoD 4 but all S.T.A.L.K.E.R.s are very good too. This atmosphere is awesome. I like racing games but not totally simulation. Example of that game: GRID but I played it on keyboard. :P

Generally I like film when it's interesting, and isn't boring. Or it is interestingly done (like "District 9").

God... I started write this post at 22:45... And then I forget to send it..

@Dessot34 You can reclamation your DVD here: http://forum.cdaction.pl/Reklamacje-plyt-d...opisma-f23.html

If you bought CDA and disc was broken you can complain it. Read FAQ or phone to redaction. Or send an E-mail.

I have played GRID Demo and i don't understand this emotions and loving this game. Maybe in normaln game it might be very good, but... DIRT DEMO was better. My only one racing simulation was RACE 07. Good game, but i haven't played it for a long time.

Da, Stalker's atmosphere is awesome. It's one of the best games I've ever played.

Yep, I bough it in the shop, (Empik) and that was destroyed. I mean that, these scars were there, I didn't made it myself. I know, that's not CDAction editors or moderators blame, but I hope that somebody could help me earn new CD or meybe even though World of Goo game.

Frightening... Today I went to X16 with 200 bullets for rifle a la M4 (you know that). I had to fight with zombies by Viper 5, cuz ammo from M4 all i wasted for "snorki". Thank God, that headshots are available.

@Dessot34 - Just call to redaction and tell them what kind of problem you have. There are phone number in magazine. And stop dally. We want to talk abut Stalker and we'll do it.

@Longbow Ya.. 200 bullets it's not enough sometimes. But emotions are awesome, aren't? In X16 I had AKS74 and maybe 500 bullets for this... And I used almost everything

Seesms that the thread has mutated into chat. Remember, kids, such attitide is frowned upon.

Games...Games... RPG in English - that's the thing. Sadly we have regional version, dubbings, translations and all that stuff and the work of english voice actors is destroyed. Go on, search on youtube how the voices in original Planescape: Torment sound. And marvel.

And these walls of text... Reading in English helps. A lot.

.... Hmm... But it's still nice to see the tgread alive :3.

Sometimes, ya. Like giving Imoen an annoying russian, uh, quirk. And Dynaheir too, although it was probably fitting. Sometimes, though, the original work is less than adequate. That - I reckon - can be quite frustrating to a man who is paid to translate but if he actually does his job properly, all the blame will be on him. Although I might be just imagining things.

mutated

Actually read that as "mutilated" the first time. God damn my sleep-deprived eyes. However, the point is, this IS a chat topic. I think. Uh.

Alive? Corpse moving from time to time is NOT alive, lol :) Since we're talking about english-dubbed games... yes, it is way better to play in this language, even if a dictionary is required to get the point of some sentences. But if translated correctly, the subbed version is even better. E.g I played Oblivion for many, many hours, thus my english skills went way up - I've learned many new words and how to pronounce them, a well as sound more... confident while I'm speaking. And now they're telling me that games are harmful for kids and make them criminals or politic... err... nevermind.

Mutilated? Maybe too. I mean, when the whole talk on forum is reduced to simple, singular sentences there is something WRONG.Horribly, horribly wrong. If you want to improve your language TRY! HARDER! :3

Dictionary... One should read english books with dictionary. But it's usually impossible and my lazy, lazy mind can find the meanings from context...

Erm, but there are some words kinda hard to understand upon first encounter. I remember clearly seeing "gorgeous" for the first time. I was God-damn-sure that it had a negative meaning. Starts with a "g", sounds very hard... and then teacher told us that it was equal to "beautiful", "fantastic" etc. Our jaws hit the floor. Similiar things happened when I saw the noun "exaggeration" - seriously, ocb? ;]

English and computer games... Well, computer games helped me too but in a different way. Waaay back when I was about six or seven I had my first cable television installed. One of the channels was Sky One which had nice kid shows at 7 PM. One or two days in the week the show had computer games in them - with player vs. player even. I loved the show!

I check out new words when I have a dictionary at hand but that rarely happens. I learn a lot of new words when I work as a translator but they mostly are specialised vocabulary. A good way to learn rare words is subscribing to some 'word of the day' service or checking out that website daile. For example the Word of the Day on dictionary.com is:

fractious [adjective];

1. Tending to cause trouble; unruly.

2. Irritable; snappish; cranky.

Check it out: http://www.reference.com/wordoftheday

Awww duuude. That reminds me. Anyone remember "Joystick"? And what about "Telekomputer"? There also was this show where you played via your phone. I can't reallly remember it's name, but they used to play, among other titles, Mortal Kombat and Lotus 3.

Geez, i thought, i'm quite good in english :D. In my school there is a teacher. She says, that the best way to learn english is... playing computer games. So she allows us playing games (in english ofc) on class computer (imagine 17 idiots trying to push to the computer:D). But she also makes lots of tests.

She's 'round 60 years old.

As you can see, teacher is a human too :D

edit: wow, i made a post no. 1800 :D
