Sterowniki wlan i grafki do laptopa IBM ThinkPad T40

Witam. Znajomy miał problem z laptopem IBM ThinkPad T40, w związku z czym konieczna była reinstalacja systemu. System przeinstalowałem, wszystko cacy tylko mam problem z sterownikami. Nie działają mi sterowniki wlan i do karyt graficznej. System wyświetla także, że nie działa sterownik modemu PCI. Ściągałem te stery ze strony producenta, ale one nie działają... Karta graficzna to ATI Mobility Radeon 7500, a karta Wi-Fi to Harris/Intersil PRISM 2.5 Wireless 802.11b Controller. Może miał ktoś podobne problemy z tym laptopem? Bo już szału dostaję, instaluje pełno sterów i żaden nie działa :/ Aha - karta Wi-Fi podobno jest Mini PCI.

Proszę o pomoc!

EDIT:

Ok poradziłem sobie ze wszystkim prócz WLAN. Reszte sterów bez problemu ściągnąłem z Microsoft Update. Teraz tylko pozostał ten WLAN :/

For Windows 2000 and Windows XP preload only, the ThinkPad Software Installer can not uninstall this Wireless LAN driver. Please refer to the instructions below to uninstall the driver.

Installing

Note: In some cases, you may need to reenter SSID and/or wireless encryption protocol (WEP) keys after updating the driver.

Start Windows 2000/XP and logon with administrative privileges.

Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.

Click Start and then click Run.

In the run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\WLLANINT\SETUP\SETUP.EXE to install the driver. Click OK to start the installation process. If you have extracted the files to a different location, specify this location instead.

Follow the instructions.

Click Yes when prompted to restart the system.

III. Uninstallation instructions

Start Windows 2000/XP. Logon with administrative privileges.

Click Start and then click Run.

In the run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\WLLANINT\WINXP\IMWEBDEL.EXE to uninstall the driver. Click the OK button to start the uninstallation process. If you have extracted the files to a different location, specify this location instead.

Follow the instructions.

Restart the system.

IV. Enabling Extended Channel Mode

The statement below regarding the extended channel mode is applicable when the system supports this function. To check the support of this function, please see the property of the installed wireless card by referring to the extended channel mode enablement instruction.

In countries other than the United States and Canada, you may be allowed to use extra IEEE 802.11b channels. If you cannot connect to an Access Point, contact your system administrator or check your Access Point to find out which channel is being used.

If the number of the channel is 12 or greater, enable Extended Channel Mode by the following procedure:

Start Windows 2000 or Windows XP. Log on with a user ID authorized as an administrator.

Right-click the My computer icon on the desktop, and select Property.

Click the Hardware tab; then click the Device Manager button.

Select Network Adapter, find a wireless adapter device, right-click the device, and select Property.

Click the Advanced tab.

Select Extended Channel Mode, and set the value to Enable.

Note: This will be applied for systems with 802.11b wireless function supporting Extended Channel Mode.

Authorized Operation Within the United States and Canada

The statement below regarding the extended channel mode is applicable when the system supports this function. To check the support of this function, please see the property of the installed wireless card by referring to the extended channel mode enablement instruction.

For systems with 802.11b wireless function supporting Extended Channel Mode, this device may only be used with Access Points, which are authorized for use within the geography in which they are being used. The use of this device with an Access Point that is not Wi-Fi compliant and not authorized to be used in your geography could result in violation of government regulations. Consult the network administrator, the instruction manual, or the approval label for the Access Point to determine the authorization of your Access Point in your specific country or geographic region.

Extended Channel Mode should only be selected when the device is operated outside the USA and Canada to avoid the unlikely possibility of unauthorized operation. The use of this device outside the United States and Canada in Extended Channel Mode may use frequencies not authorized for use in the United States and Canada. When used with an authorized Wireless Access Point that is Wi-Fi compliant or in Ad Hoc mode, this device will operate in its authorized modes in all geographies.

Please reconfigure selected frequencies when you travel from one country to another.

V. Determining which Wireless LAN Adapter is installed

Start Windows 2000/XP and logon with administrative privileges.

Click Start, select Settings, click Control Panel, then double-click the System icon.

Click Hardware if using Windows 2000/XP, then click Device Manager button or tab.

Click Network Adapters.

Ensure that the following shows up: High Rate Wireless LAN Mini-PCI Adapter with Modem II.

This driver is not applicable if only the following shows up: Cisco Systems PCI Wireless LAN Adapter.

VI. Determining which version is installed

Double-click the high rate wireless LAN Mini PCI adapter with Modem II configuration utility icon in the system tray.

Click the About tab. It displays the versions of the driver.

If the version is 1.07.43, then please check the date also:

If the date is Aug 30 2002, then the driver is 1.07.43.0830/1IWC19WW.

If the date is Jul 12 2002, then the driver is 1.07.43.0712/1IWC17WW.

If the date is Jun 6 2002, then the driver is 1.07.43.0606/1IWC16WW
